Rooted & Radiant: Growing in Faith, Character & Confidence

An Online Course for Teenage Girls | Ages 13–17

Rooted & Radiant is a warm, engaging course designed especially for teenage girls seeking to grow closer to Allah, understand their faith, and navigate life with confidence and beautiful character.

Through meaningful tafsīr of selected verses of the Qur’an and inspiring lessons from the Makkan era of the Seerah, students will explore how faith gave strength, courage, patience, and purpose to the earliest Muslims. The course will help them see the Qur’an and Seerah not as distant stories, but as a guide for their own friendships, family life, identity, challenges, and dreams.

Together, we will learn how to remain rooted in īmān while becoming radiant through confidence, compassion, resilience, and noble character.

Course Outline

Module 1: Rooted in Faith

Knowing Allah and strengthening one’s relationship with Him
Finding guidance, comfort, and purpose in the Qur’an
Building a strong Muslim identity

Module 2: The Early Makkan Message

The beginning of revelation and the call to worship Allah alone
The Prophet ﷺ as the perfect teacher, mentor, and example
The courage of the first Muslims

Module 3: Faith Through Challenges

Patience and steadfastness in the face of difficulty
Lessons from the persecution of the early believers
Responding to pressure and negativity with dignity

Module 4: Radiant Character

Truthfulness, kindness, modesty, and compassion
Managing anger, jealousy, and difficult friendships
Becoming a source of goodness at home, school, and online

Module 5: Confidence with Purpose

Understanding your worth as a Muslimah
Having courage to stand for what is right
Setting goals and using one’s abilities in the service of Allah

Module 6: A Heart Connected to Allah

Du‘ā’, ṣalāh, dhikr, and turning to Allah in every situation
Gratitude, hope, and tawakkul
Carrying the lessons of the Qur’an and Seerah into daily life

By the end of the course, students will have a stronger connection with the Qur’an, a deeper love for the Prophet ﷺ, and practical tools to live as confident, thoughtful, and spiritually grounded young Muslimahs.
