Program Overview
The Takhassus fil Lughat al-‘Arabiyyah is a rigorous 9-month advanced specialization designed exclusively for graduates of the ʿĀlimiyyah program who seek to refine and elevate their command of the Arabic language.
While ʿĀlimiyyah provides a strong foundation in classical Arabic, many graduates still experience a gap between understanding texts and expressing themselves with fluency and confidence. This program is designed to bridge that gap — transforming passive knowledge into active mastery.
Through an immersive and structured approach, students will develop proficiency in speaking, writing, reading, and listening, enabling them to engage deeply with classical and contemporary Arabic, deliver lectures, write academically, and communicate effectively in Arabic-speaking environments.

Program Structure & Schedule

1.5 hours per session - Days: Mon, Tues & Thurs
- Time: 8 AM EDT, 1 PM UK, 5 PM PK

Fee Structure
- Registration Fee: USD $25 (non-refundable)
- Semester 1 (May – September = 4.5 months): USD $135
(Equivalent to USD $30/month) - Semester 2 (October – January = 4.5 months): USD $135
Prerequisites
Applicants must:
- Be a graduate of a recognized ʿĀlimiyyah program
- Successfully pass an entrance oral assessment. Student will be asked to recite an Arabic text and translate. Duration: 15 minutes. Camera should be turned on during the assessment.
- Submit the following documents:
- Copy of ID
- Copy of Sanad / Degree

Registration Process
- Complete the online registration form available on the website.
- Only applicants who meet the eligibility criteria should proceed with registration.
- Submit the registration fee of USD $25 to the Institute’s account.
(Please note: this fee is non-refundable.) - Upon verification of documents, applicants will be scheduled for an oral assessment on a specified date. Only those applicants who have completed the fee submission will be eligible to sit for the test.
- Further details will be communicated via email. Only successful candidates will be offered admission.
- Submit the Semester 1 fee of USD 135.
- Upon completion of the registration process, a Student ID will be issued.
